What we count
We count page visits, search use, clicks to another publication page, and whether a browser has visited before. Search terms, worksheet writing, email addresses, and personal identifiers are not sent to our measurement endpoint. The endpoint stores structured event records in the hosting service’s runtime logs, subject to its retention limits; this is not a permanent reader database.
Your choice
Measurement is disabled when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also turn it off here. This preference and a coarse record of your previous visit are stored only in your browser. We do not set measurement cookies or use advertising trackers.
